The final step in your tissue culture workflow

After the rooting stage, tissue culture plantlets need to be gradually introduced to normal growing conditions — a process known as acclimatization. Acclimation Cups provide a simple and effective way to manage this transition, helping to reduce transplant shock and supporting healthy establishment outside of culture.

The transparent design allows you to monitor plantlet progress without disturbing the setup, and the cups can be used with a range of growing substrates depending on your preferred workflow.

How to use

1. Remove rooted plantlets from culture medium and gently rinse off any residual agar.
2. Plant in a suitable moist growing substrate.
3. Cover with the cup to maintain high humidity during initial acclimatization.
4. Gradually increase ventilation over 1–2 weeks to reduce humidity and harden off the plantlet.
